pinokio
« on: June 25, 2010, 12:22:21 PM »
The pinokio loader, i think is great. it holds 230 rounds with the stage one nose and 400 with the stage two nose. as far as i have used it it has not jammed on me yet putting around a case through it.
it is lighter than the rotor, however; it is more bulkier than the rotor. it takes two 9volt batteries which is quick and easy to change and feeds only when the membrane pad is tripped when a ball moves passed it.
when i used my rotor i felt i was always reloading and out of paint and when i had a few balls left in there i could never feel a entire lock lid into it. with the pinokio i always had room for more so i never ran out of paint. when the stage two nose was on my gun still felt balanced and was never front heavy really. i like the rotors and im not putting them down i just like like how the pinokio perform better than the rotor peforms.

I don't have the pinoko but i do have a rotor. I think the rotor has its advantages as well.

Low profile
Easy to fix and field strip
With a new top you can easy hold 200 round
Can get it in different colors
And i don't see many speedballers using PINOKIOS in tournaments as of yet.

All in all they are both nice hoppers and suit many needs.

I remember using the A5 with a 400+ hopper, so that 'extended pinokio' will give you a small workout.....which goes against the grain of being a light-weight speedballer doesn't it ?

the pinicio is too lound for me while its feeding. The bulk sucks it's too big with extended nose. Its great when you need the paint but to carry it aroung for awhile hell mike might actually look like a guy............................
